Privacy, safeguarding and terms

RESTART collects the minimum information needed to support you: a first name or nickname, a town or city, and whatever you choose to tell us about your goals and availability.

You are never required to disclose abuse, health information, immigration status or details of your relationships.

Free-text answers written in confidence exercises stay on your device and are not attached to your profile.

A coach can only see your information if you have given explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

RestoreHer has a designated safeguarding lead. Concerns about risk of harm to an adult or child may be shared with appropriate services.

RESTART is not monitored around the clock and cannot respond to emergencies.

Peer groups are moderated before posts appear, and posts revealing identifying details are removed.

RESTART provides guidance, practice and signposting for education and employment purposes.

It does not provide regulated financial, legal, medical or safeguarding advice, and nothing in it should be relied on as such.

Content generated to help you apply for work must be reviewed and approved by you before it is sent to any employer.

Participant data is retained for the duration of your programme and for a defined period afterwards, to be confirmed by RestoreHer.

You can export or delete everything held about you at any time from the More screen.

Aggregate outcome reporting uses anonymised counts only and cannot identify an individual.

RESTART cannot contact emergency services on your behalf.
